Upcoming Grant Deadlines

Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) and Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) grant application deadlines as of 4/27/23.

  1. Climate Pollution Reduction Grants – Planning (IRA)
    • Due date: April 28, 2023
    • Eligible entities: 67 most populous metropolitan areas & 12 additional metropolitan areas
    • Climate-aligned eligible projects: $1 million to each of the 67 most populous metropolitan areas in planning grants to develop innovative strategies to cut climate pollution and build clean energy economies. These are opt-in grants that are required for municipalities to be eligible for the $4.6B in competitive implementation grants that will be administered this summer. Because 4 states did not opt-in for funding, 12 additional metropolitan areas are eligible for $1 million.
