A core function of the America Is All In coalition, is to engage international partners to showcase climate action throughout the United States. In the current political climate, it will be increasingly important for the America Is All In coalition to engage international governments at the federal and subnational levels to maintain climate ambition globally.
We are seeking a six-month consultancy to develop a strategy for international engagement leading up to the 30th UNFCCC Conference of the Parties in Belem, Brazil. This consultancy should seek to maximize the All In coalition’s ability to positively influence international governments’ climate pledges. The consultant will work with the Coalition Manager and report to the Program Director.
Expected Deliverables
- List of tiered international partners with whom All In should engage and methods or processes to do so.
- Strategy to maintain subnational engagement between:
- The United States and China
- The United States and Europe
- The United States and Brazil
- Strategy to highlight subnational U.S. leadership at international fora including but not limited to G7, G20 and UNFCCC meetings including COP30
