At London Climate Action Week, a delegation organized by America Is All In, Ceres, Climate Mayors, and the U.S. Climate Alliance will showcase how cities, states, and the private sector are driving solutions that lower energy costs, reduce climate pollution, and protect public health

Washington D.C., June 17, 2026 — Today, America Is All In, Ceres, Climate Mayors, and the U.S. Climate Alliance announced a delegation of U.S. state, city, and business leaders will participate in London Climate Action Week from June 20-28. They will host events, provide remarks, and meet with international partners to strengthen relationships and demonstrate enduring subnational U.S. action on climate and clean energy. Together, these U.S. climate leaders are delivering solutions in their communities that are improving lives, cutting pollution and energy costs, and creating good-paying jobs.

America Is All In Executive Director Chris Wheat, America Is All In Special Representative Trigg Talley, Climate Mayors Executive Director Kate Wright, and U.S. Climate Alliance Managing Director Taryn Finnessey will also join the delegation to deepen engagement and cooperation with international counterparts, civil society, and private-sector partners.

U.S. states, cities, and the private sector are cutting energy costs and climate pollution through innovative solutions and technologies, including heat pumps, electric vehicles, rooftop solar, energy efficiency, clean energy incentives, and streamlined permitting. These efforts are paying off with more than 6.4 GW of new clean power capacity in the first quarter of this year. Clean energy is predicted to set a record in 2026, with solar, wind, and battery storage on track to account for 93% of all new capacity in the U.S. 

Over the past year, America Is All In, Climate Mayors, and the U.S. Climate Alliance have been working closely with cities and states to strengthen and showcase U.S. actions to curb climate change, including at the Local Leaders Forum during COP30 and now at London Climate Action Week. The America Is All In network has been deeply engaged in building partnerships with leaders around the world, meeting with COP31 officials in Australia, and elevating subnational climate progress on the global stage, including at the Montreal Climate Summit, COP intersessionals in Bonn, and the Transitioning Away from Fossil Fuels conference in Santa Marta, Colombia.

Participating in London Climate Action Week will help me identify innovative strategies from international colleagues to bring back to Columbia," said Columbia Mayor Barbara Buffaloe, Vice-Chair of Climate Mayors.

Launched in 2017 by the governors of Washington, New York, and California to fill the void left by the U.S. federal government's withdrawal from the Paris Agreement, the Alliance has grown to include 24 governors from across the country, representing approximately 60% of the U.S. economy and 55% of the U.S. population.
