Bibb, and Gina McCarthy, the first White House National Climate Advisor and former EPA Administrator, issued the following joint statement in response to an executive order from President Trump that threatens state and local climate laws protecting American communities and fighting climate change:

"No one knows the needs of a community better than its local leaders. That’s why, as co-chairs of America Is All In, we recognize this executive order for what it is: an attempt to threaten the constitutionally protected authority of state and local governments to protect their residents through strong environmental and climate policies. We stand firmly with governors, mayors, and local leaders who are taking bold, locally-driven climate action to protect public health, grow our economy, and benefit all communities."
